INNOCENT (almost)

Alexis Bassett + Kriz Radousky launch a cinematic alternative-rock single campaign for radio discovery, unsigned showcases, press, film/TV sync and short-form visual media.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — September 2026 — Alexis Bassett and Kriz Radousky are launching INNOCENT (almost), a dark, emotionally charged alternative/hard-rock collaboration shaped around conflict, guilt, survival, self-forgiveness and the space between defeat and redemption.

Rather than treating the song as a conventional standalone single, the artists built a multi-format campaign around it. The package includes six short-form visual pieces, a dedicated sync/licensing deck, radio and unsigned-artist outreach, and a media presentation aimed at outlets that still actively discover independent music.

At 7 minutes and 46 seconds, INNOCENT (almost) is intentionally expansive. The arrangement sustains a dramatic arc and gives editors multiple levels of intensity for tension, fracture, confrontation, aftermath, recovery, redemption and end-credit use.

The campaign is being presented to local and regional rock radio, college/community stations, independent music press, promoters and showcases that support unsigned artists, while also being pitched to music-supervision professionals and sync contacts working across film, television, streaming, trailers and theatrical production.

Kriz Radousky is the vocalist/frontman of Chicago-area hard-rock band ChainWax. Alexis Bassett brings a complementary creative voice to the collaboration and is associated with smakDab. Together they are presenting INNOCENT (almost) as a distinct collaboration with a visual identity built around fracture, contrast, damaged innocence and the possibility of rebuilding.

For screen use, the song is positioned for character reckoning, morally complicated protagonists, crime/thriller drama, relationship fracture, recovery and comeback sequences, high-emotion montages, trailers/promos and end credits. WAV and 320 kbps MP3 masters are available, with additional editorial deliverables available for a specific brief.

Alexis Bassett

Alexis Bassett is a multidisciplinary performer whose background crosses heavy music, opera, theater, dance, event production, creative fabrication and artist development. Her stage life began at age six, and her documented performance history includes more than 200 individual stage appearances, formal opera training, ballet, pointe, jazz and tap, theater productions and Broadway performances.

As a teenager, Bassett fronted smakDab, placing her inside the late-1990s Midwestern heavy-music world while she also built experience in theater, dance and vocal performance. She brings the instincts of a singer, performer, curator, producer and artist advocate to AXK.

Christopher “Kriz” Radousky

Christopher “Kriz” Radousky is a Chicago-area hard-rock vocalist, songwriter, operator and builder whose musical identity is rooted in more than two decades of ChainWax history. As ChainWax frontman, he has carried the project through changing lineups, archived recordings, returns to the stage, radio exposure and long-standing Midwest scene relationships.

The collaboration with Alexis Bassett on INNOCENT (almost) opens another lane—one that draws from their separate histories without simply recreating either smakDab or ChainWax.
